"Welcome to the future of Australian Streetcar Racing"

Australian Streetcar Racers Inc or as it will be known “ASCAR” is designed with specific intentions to promote Pro-Street style racing in Australia by offering more events, more interaction to encourage more involvement, generate more interest in our brand of motorsport and to just bloody RACE!!

ASCAR will organise Pro Street style racing events around Australia with the Second of our Mini Series Events booked in at Willowbank Raceway at the Tin Tops 18th & 19th April 2008. Check out the events section of this site for more info.

A full set of current rules for Pro Street, Modified Street and Radial Tyre classes have been developed in detail and can be viewed in the rules section of this website. These rules will be used in conjunction with the top ten lists on this site as well as other groups wishing to use these rules within their event.

We have also produced All-Time Top 10, Current Top 10 and Top Ten lists for each state in Australia. These will be advertised in prominent magazines with national coverage further exposing our breed of motorsport to the masses.    As for the all time top ten list, this is meant for the legends of the sport over the last 10 to 15 years or so. If you know of a quick car that used to be around that’s not racing now, or even if he or she is, just e-mail us and to nominate then for the all time top ten list and lets get that one happening. I’m talking about cars like joe blo, craig thompson’s old hg, chris holley’s ute, the boys from Vic, and I’m sure there were heaps in Sydney…let me crack out the old performance streetcar mag and check it out…..anyone that used to run the numbers all that time ago….give them a call if you know them and let them know that the all time top ten list is an invite only deal and membership to ASCAR is free for life for these legends.
